Castle Hill Hand Therapy is a locally owned and operated physiotherapy practice dedicated solely to the management of the hand and upper limb. We only treat hands, wrists, forearms, elbows, and upper arms.


Belinda Hession, our Physiotherapist, is an AHTA Accredited Hand Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist (USA). She is highly experienced and has been working in the hand therapy field full time for over 20 years, most recently for 12 years at Hand Therapy At Hornsby, prior to starting her own hand therapy practice in her local area.

Belinda can aid your recovery from an accident, a sporting injury, surgery, trauma, a workplace incident or overuse. She treats handwriting difficulties, recurring pain, reduced grip strength, and can assist with management of a chronic condition such as thumb arthritis or hyper mobility syndromes. Belinda is keen to manage your condition to assist you to increase your enjoyment in life.

At Castle Hill Hand Therapy, you are provided with a thorough assessment, detailed education and a tailored, individualised treatment. Belinda can make you a custom made splint (thermoplastic, neoprene or lycra) on the spot, apply a waterproof cast or a plaster backslab, provide you with an individualised exercise program, and appropriate education on what to expect, recovery time frames and how to optimise your result.

 

Castle Hill Hand Therapy is a newly appointed practice with state of the art equipment for the most thorough assessment and treatment. The practice is open weekdays for booked appointments. We can offer a same day service for fractures, urgent conditions or post operative care. No referral is needed for private patients.

The practice is situated in the heart of Castle Hill, in The Hills District, Sydney. It is conveniently located opposite Castle Mall with ample free parking. It is close to the Castle Hill public transport hub, being a few minutes walk from the Castle Hill metro station and the Castle Towers bus stop, bringing Cherrybrook, Rouse Hill, Norwest and Epping closer.

 

Castle Hill Hand Therapy provides the Hicaps facility for private health fund claiming under physiotherapy and has eftpos services. Belinda is an AHTA Accredited Hand Therapist, making you eligible for claiming for custom made splints. The reimbursement will depend on your level of physiotherapy cover with your health fund. Referrals are required for Workers Compensation, DVA patients and Medicare (Chronic Disease Management) patients to enable their insurance claims.
